Since my teenage years, I enjoyed working with kids. This is one of the reasons that I started and finished studying music education. For someone who loves music and the favorite movie being "The Sound of Music", I came to the decision that I want to visit Austria. What is an au pair?
An au pair is a young person who lives with a host family and provides child care and other household assistance in exchange for room, board, and pocket money. Au pairs are typically between the ages of 18 and 30 and come from a variety of countries to live with families in other countries as a cultural exchange. The term "au pair" is French and means "on par" or "equal to," indicating that the relationship between the au pair and the host family is one of mutual exchange and support. Au pairs typically work part-time, usually for about 25 to 35 hours per week, and have set days off. In addition to providing child care, au pairs may also help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and other household tasks.

Is this app free?
Yes, definetly! Our goal is to push the idea of au pair and not restrict it even more. While we offer some premium plans, those are only for convenience and will not give advantage over free users.

What makes you better than the competition?
We don't see other applications on the market as competition. We are trying to make a complex process easier for everyone. If other applications do this job better than us, we are happy too. And if other applications see us as competition and decide to improve their service, we are even happier. However when analyzing the market we had the feeling, that most companies focused on monetization and not on the well-being of au pairs and families.

Why can only host families create connections?
Your integrity and privacy is high priority for us. We take this as a motivator to prevent au pairs from contacting every family. Our goal is to find the perfect connection as we value quality over quantity. An au pair still cand send message requests or show interest in a family.

While we wish to give you the best experience possible, we also have limited capacity. We however already created a priority list with features we definetly want to see in the future. An extensive help center is currently on top of that list. Other features include multi-language support and any cool idea you come up with.
